From these simple things our inspiration flows.

We created a world of jewelry like no other.

From the common desire to create something that will be treasured forever,
Hinata, who was a lacquerware craftsman,
and Taira, who worked as a package designer,
as husband and wife launched the jewelry brand “Ryui” in 2008.

Our store under our direct management
was opened in Nishi-Ogikubo, Tokyo, in 2015.

Ryu Hinata

Born in Tokyo. Completed master’s degree in Urushi-Art (Japanese Lacquer) at Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Fine Arts.
