Due to security concerns, we cannot send credit card receipts. Please refer to the card usage details provided by your credit card company. In addition, since we use an SSL security system, the credit card number is encrypted when sent.
Shipping and Handling
We will ship by DHL Express directly from Kunitachi City, Tokyo, within a maximum of 7 business days from order completion.
If you purchase both an in-stock product and a made-to-order product at the same time, we will ship both products together once the made-to-order product has been completed (if you wish to have items delivered separately, we will make separate shipments after receiving the shipping fees for each product).
The estimated delivery time is about 3 to 10 days from the date of shipment, but this may vary depending on the destination country, weather conditions, and customs procedures.
After the item has shipped, we will send you a notification email with a tracking number including a link that allows you to check the delivery status.

Returns and Cancellations
Returns are accepted only for defective products. Please contact us by email within 5 days after you receive the defective item, attaching a photo of the affected area. If the product is defective, we will bear the cost of return shipping. Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons due to the customer, such as the size does not fit, or the item looks different from what the customer imagined.
Cancellation after Ordering
In principle, we do not accept order cancellations.
In addition, if you wish to change the ring size a second time after receiving the complimentary size adjustment at the time of ordering, please note that additional size adjustments are charged.
About Credit Cards
In the case of payment cancellation at the online store, the product price may still be deducted from the customer's account, depending on the timing of cancellation of the credit card charge and the timing of the cut-off date of the credit card company, etc.
In such cases, the credit card company will process the refund or offset the transaction at a later date, but the precise refund timing and method depend on the policies of each credit card company, so please contact your credit card company for information.

Also, if the card you are using is a debit card, the credit may be withdrawn once when the credit card is approved, but please be aware this is due to the nature of the debit card system, not to our online store system.
Gift Wrapping
Whether as a gift for yourself or for someone special, all Ryui jewelry is delivered in an original box tied with a ribbon so that you can feel joy from the moment you receive it.

Purchase of Bridal Rings
Bridal pieces will be delivered in a white box with a mini bouquet wrapping as shown below.

How to Care for Your Jewelry
As jewelry ages over time, changes to appearance vary depending on the material. Please confirm and use the correct method to care for your jewelry so that you can enjoy its beauty for years to come.
Silver
Silver reacts to sulfur components in the air and hot springs, tarnishing the surface to brown or black over time. If you notice the silver color has become dull, cleaning it regularly with a jewelry cleaning liquid formulated for silver will restore its original color. Storing the silver jewelry in a sealed bag with a silver discoloration prevention sheet will also help prevent tarnishing.
Platinum and Gold
Platinum and gold are more resistant to discoloration than silver. If you are concerned about dust and dirt, you can restore the beautiful shine by wiping the jewelry gently with a soft cloth such as a cleaning cloth for glasses or jewelry.
The lower the purity of the gold, the higher the silver content, so it may become discolored depending on the environmental conditions. In this case, we recommend cleaning with a cleaning solution formulated for precious metal jewelry.
Pearls and Gemstones
Since natural pearls and gemstones are organic substances, the surface may deteriorate or discolor upon contact with sebum, detergents, and acidic substances such as fruit juice and cosmetics. We recommend wiping your pearl and gemstone jewelry gently with a soft, dry cloth after use before storing it. Additionally, dropping onto a hard surface or hitting forcefully may cause the pearl or stone to crack or fall out of its setting, so please handle with care.

About Our Products
Q. I lost one earring. Is it possible to replace it?
We accept orders to replace a lost earring at half the current price of the original piece. (Production period: about 5 weeks) Please contact us.
In the case of earrings with an asymmetrical design, please attach a photo of the remaining earring.
*Please note that the shipping fee will be the responsibility of the customer.
*In the case of earrings using natural gemstones, it may not be possible to replace an earring due to the difficulty of sourcing the same gemstone as the original piece.
Q. Can pierced earrings be changed to clip-ons?
If you would like to change a pierced earring purchase to clip-on earrings, please contact us from the "Inquire about this product" form at the bottom of the product page.
Since each part is made by hand, it will take approximately 5 weeks from the date of payment (some items cannot be changed to the clip-on type). If you wish to change the specifications of an item from pierced earrings to clip-on earrings, we will accept a custom order (production period: about 7 weeks).
For products that can be changed to a clip-on type, there is a link to the page dedicated to earring parts at the bottom of the page, so please add the clip-on earring parts to your cart along with the earrings you wish to purchase. (Some items cannot be changed to the earring design)
Additional charges for earring adjustments are as follows:
- Silver products: ¥3,300~ including tax
- K18YG products: ¥16,500~ including tax
Q. Is there a charge for resizing rings that are in stock?
For rings priced at ¥33,000 or more (including tax), we offer complimentary resizing once. (It will be shipped about 4 weeks after ordering)
Rings priced at ¥33,000 or less including tax cannot be resized. After receiving your order, we will make it and ship it to you. (It will be shipped about 5 weeks after ordering)
Q. Can I specify the ring size?
Products that are made-to-order can be made in the size desired by the customer.
Please refer to the ring size chart at the bottom of the product page and specify the Japanese size at the time of purchase.
Q. How do I determine my ring size?
We recommend that you measure your finger with a ring gauge.
Your size is the size that you can wear comfortably without feeling pressure or tightness, and without worrying about the contact between adjacent fingers. Here are some other considerations when choosing your ring size:
- – Whether or not your hands are prone to swelling
- – Differences in wearability depending on the temperature and season
- – Where and how often you plan to wear your ring
Swelling in the body varies greatly from person to person, but if you are aware that you are prone to swelling, we recommend ordering 0.5 to 1 size up.
The fit of the ring may also change depending on the climate. In hot weather, increased water intake and sweating may make fingers swell, making the fit tighter. Conversely, cold dry weather may make the ring feel looser.
As for the occasion, if you plan to keep the ring on for long periods, such as a bridal ring, we recommend that you prioritize the fit at the base of the finger rather than at the joints. If you are considering a fashion ring that you plan to wear only for special occasions, it may be best to choose a size that takes into account the ease of putting it on over your finger joints.
Q. Can I get the inside of the ring engraved?
Yes, it is possible to engrave rings with a width of at least 2mm.
Engagement rings, marriage rings, and eternal rings can be engraved free of charge (some engagement rings cannot be engraved, so please confirm the details of each ring).
Engravings on fashion rings require an engraving fee.
At the bottom of each product page, there is a link to the shopping cart with the engraving option, so please purchase it together with the ring. *In the unlikely event that there is no link to the engraving shopping cart for a ring of 2mm width or more, please contact us from "Inquire about this product" at the bottom of the product page.
Q. Is it necessary to purchase wedding rings as a pair? Also, is it possible to order wedding rings as a pair only if they have the same design?
It is possible to order even one wedding ring. If you purchase a pair, it is also possible to order each one with a different design according to your preference.
However, the following designs require a pair order of the two rings (materials can be selected individually):

The product page of the online store shows the price per item. If you would like to order the rings as a pair, please add each item to the cart individually and enter your request at the time of checkout.
Q. I would like to customize the design of my bridal ring.
When ordering from the online store, it is possible to customize select rings by adding melee diamonds, engraving stars, or combining two colors of the base metal.
If you would like to customize the design, please contact us in advance by email or the contact form.
Q. Can I get the necklace plate engraved?
It is possible to engrave up to 5 characters. When purchasing, please let us know what you would like to have engraved in the “Remarks" form.
As this is a paid option, after purchasing the product, we will send you an order completion email along with instructions on how to pay for the engraving fee. (¥1,430~ including tax)
*Birthstones cannot be added.
*Some products cannot be engraved (items that already have a carat stamp, etc.), so please contact us in advance.
Q. Is it possible to change the length of a necklace chain?
Yes. Please contact us in advance about your desired chain length, and we will provide an estimate.
About Our Materials
Q. What is the grade (purity) of the silver used at Ryui?
We use 925 sterling silver.
Q. Is the white part seen in some of your silver designs painted on?
No. It is a finish that makes use of the white matte color of unpolished silver, so it is the original color of the material, and not a coating (when polished, the luster associated with silver will appear).
Q. The silver has turned brownish. Please tell me how to clean it.
Silver is a material that tarnishes over time, but you can easily clean it at home using a silver cleaning solution to restore the original color and luster. See here for cleaning instructions.
Q. Does Ryui use hypoallergenic metals?
Metals like stainless steel and titanium, which are also used in medical equipment, are less likely to cause allergies, but due to the characteristics of these materials, Ryui jewelry cannot be made from these metals.
Ryui jewelry uses the following materials:
- – K18 / K10 (gold)
- – Pt900 (Platinum)
- – Silver925 (sterling silver: fashion jewelry only)
- – Rhodium (used as a coating on some silver jewelry)

*︎Brass is used in some brooches.
It is generally said that jewelry made from the high-purity K18 and platinum that we use is less likely to cause allergic reactions, but this will depend on the individual. If you have any concerns, we recommend that you check in advance at a medical institution to see which metals are likely to cause a reaction before purchasing.
Q. Is there a difference in durability depending on the materials used in the bridal rings?
K18 and Pt900 have slight differences due to the different properties of each material, but there is no significant difference in durability. You can wear these materials while going about daily life, including bathing and hand washing, so please choose the color you prefer.
Q. Can I make a custom order of a Sold Out item?
You can select "order" on the page for products that can be custom ordered. One-of-a-kind items and archive items that do not have an "Order" label cannot be ordered. In the case of a one-of-a-kind item using diamonds or pearls, we may be able to accept custom orders by sourcing a similar loose stone. Please feel free to contact us.
*One-of-a-kind items using natural stones with unique qualities such as quartz with inclusions cannot be made to order.
*Because the market price of gold and jewelry fluctuates, the product price will be estimated on a case-by-case basis.
Q. Is it possible to make a custom order with a completely original design?
Depending on the nature of the design you have in mind, original design orders may be available upon request. Please contact us in advance.

Q. I would like to know how to care for my jewelry.
K18, Pt900 jewelry:
[General cleaning]
Submerge the jewelry in lukewarm water containing a jewelry cleaning solution or neutral detergent and gently clean with a soft brush. Then rinse with water and dry well. *Not recommended for pearl products
[Care for discoloration]
High-purity precious metals rarely show discoloration, but 18K items may become slightly reddish over time. If you are concerned about it, clean it with a cleaning solution formulated for precious metals. When using a cleaning solution, please read the precautions carefully before using.
*Jewelry cleaning solutions cannot be used for products with pearls or natural stones.
Silver jewelry:
[General cleaning]
Wipe off surface dirt with a soft cloth. If the product is heavily soiled or has sweat on it, wash it off with running water and then dry with a soft cloth.
*Not recommended for pearl products
[Care for discoloration]
Submerge the jewelry for about 10 seconds in a jewelry cleaning solution formulated for silver, rinse it off with running water, and then wipe it dry with a soft cloth. In the case of minor discoloration, the color will return to like-new.
*Pearls, natural stones, and items with black finish cannot be cleaned with silver cleaning liquid.
*Precious metals may become discolored when exposed to the elements. Be sure to remove your jewelry when bathing in hot springs, or when using sulfur or chlorine-based chemicals or cosmetics.
*Polishing with a commercially available jewelry cloth that contains abrasives will increase the luster, so it is not recommended for products with a matte finish. Use a soft cloth, such as an eyeglass cleaning cloth, to clean matte finish jewelry.
*If the color cannot be completely restored even with the jewelry cleaning solution: please note that after opening the bottle, the cleaning solution gradually becomes less effective. If you feel the cleaning solution has lost its strength, we recommend that you purchase a new cleaning solution and try again.
*Please note that if the tarnishing progresses to black, it may not be possible to completely restore the original color with a cleaning solution.
Q. Please tell me how to care for pearl jewelry.
After use, gently wipe away perspiration with a soft cloth before storing. If you are concerned about stains, please use a cleaning solution specifically for pearl jewelry (not for use on products made with thread).
When wiping a necklace made with thread, the thread will stretch if pulled vertically, so wipe the pearl by rolling it with your palm.
*Silver jewelry pieces using pearls are coated with rhodium to prevent tarnishing, so in principle you can enjoy its luster without it tarnishing. Please note however that the coating may be worn off and become discolored with use.
*Regarding pearl necklaces and bracelets assembled with threads
Although it is made with strong thread specifically for jewelry, necklaces made with thread are vulnerable to water, and if it is soaked in water, the thread will stretch and deteriorate. Also, prolonged contact with water may damage pearls, so please remove pearl jewelry when bathing or playing sports.
If the thread stretches over time and you can see the thread between the pearls, it is possible to replace the necklace thread.
Q. Where can I see Ryui products in person?
All in-stock items can be viewed at our Ryui Nishi-Ogikubo location in Tokyo.
*During exhibitions or events at other locations, some products may not be available at the store. However, it is possible to reserve a product for one week. If you wish to reserve an item, please contact us from the Contact form.

Q. Do you have a product catalog?
We offer a catalog for bridal rings, shipping available within Japan only.
We do not offer a catalog for fashion jewelry, so please check our online store and social media to see our products.
Q. Is it possible to have my purchase gift-wrapped?

About Returns and Exchanges
Q. Can I return a product?
We accept returns and exchanges only for initially defective products.
If you wish to return a defective item, please contact us by email within 5 days of receiving the item. Depending on the condition of the product and the reason, we may not be able to fulfill your request for a return. After confirming the condition of the returned product, we will proceed with the return/refund procedure.
Please note that in principle we cannot accept returns in the following cases:
- ・If more than 6 days have passed since the product was delivered
- ・If for reasons due to the customer such as the size does not fit, or it looks different from how the customer imagined, etc.
- ・If it has been used or if there is evidence of wear
- ・If it has been soiled or damaged by the customer
- ・If additional items included with the item such as the sales certificate, box, etc. are missing or damaged
