The Syami series draws inspiration from the body shape of the traditional Japanese instrument, the shamisen. We considered that its beautifully soft square form—long preserved in this historic instrument—might in fact be the most natural shape to fit the cross-section of a finger, which is not perfectly round. The inside is rounded and smoothly finished, with careful attention paid to its thickness and angle, resulting in a surprisingly comfortable fit that belies its square appearance. This design features a light brown diamond set into the classic Syami ring. The calm hue of the light brown diamond glows subtly against the plain matte finish of the band. Special attention has also been given to the interior comfort, offering such a smooth feel that wearing it becomes a quiet pleasure. The square form also helps prevent the ring from spinning on the finger—another distinctive and practical advantage.
