The birthstone of October, tourmaline is called denki-seki, "electric stone" in Japanese due to its ability to hold electric charge when heated or pressed. A mysterious gemstone said to have been used from ancient times in sacred rites and medical treatments, in addition to jewelry. It boasts such a wide range of possible colors that it is also known as the "chameleon gem." In this piece, the two stones show a striking deep green clearly bordered with transparent edges, in an unique mountain-like shape of conjoined crystals. The 18K gold setting, its shape in perfect harmony with the organic form of the stone, has an open design on the sides to let in light. Uniting the design are delicately sparkling melee diamonds. Selecting your ring size
We recommend choosing a size that you can comfortably wear without feeling pressure or tightness when you make a fist, and without discomfort between adjacent fingers.
For wide rings of 6.0 mm or more
Compared to the number measured with a typical ring gauge, a wide width ring may feel a little tight to wear due to its large surface area. When considering a wide ring, we recommend that you choose a slightly looser size than you usually wear, 1 to 1.5 sizes up.
